Privacy Policy

1. Overview

SPINR is a text-transformation tool that rewrites user-supplied text through selectable tone and perspective attributes. This Policy explains what we collect, how it is used, who processes it on our behalf, your rights, and the terms that govern your use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Text you provide

When you type, paste, dictate, or import text into SPINR and press "Spin," that text is transmitted to our serverless backend, which forwards it to a third-party large language model (LLM) provider (see Section 4) for the sole purpose of producing a rewritten output. We do not store the text of your requests on our servers beyond the time required to complete the request.

2.2 Voice dictation (iOS & supported web browsers)

If you enable dictation, audio captured from your microphone is transcribed into text using Apple's on-device or server-based Speech framework (iOS) or your browser's Web Speech API (web). This audio is not sent to our servers. The resulting transcribed text is treated the same as any other text you enter.

2.3 Imported files

If you import a text file, the contents are loaded locally into the App. We do not transmit or store the file itself, only the text you subsequently choose to spin.

2.4 Saved spins

Any spins you tap "Save" on are stored locally on your device (browser localStorage or iOS UserDefaults). We do not sync, back up, or transmit saved spins.

2.5 What we do NOT collect

• No account, email address, name, phone number, or password.
• No advertising identifiers, IDFA, IDFV, or device fingerprints.
• No analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers.
• No location data.
• No contacts, calendar, photos, health, or financial data.

3. How We Use Information

Text you submit is used solely to generate the rewritten output you requested. We do not use your text to train models, build profiles, target advertising, or sell to third parties.

4. Third-Party Processors

To provide SPINR's core functionality we rely on the following processors. When we transmit your text to them, we do so subject to their respective terms and privacy practices:

• Anthropic, PBC (Claude) — primary rewrite model. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Google LLC (Gemini) — fallback rewrite model. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Netlify, Inc. — hosts the App's web front-end and serverless functions. See Netlify Privacy Policy.
• Apple Inc. — provides the Speech framework used for iOS dictation and distributes the iOS App via the App Store. See Apple Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these processors. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with their terms.

5. Data Retention

Request text sent to our serverless function is not persisted on our servers after the response is returned. Saved spins are retained on your device only, and you can delete them at any time via the "Saved" panel or by clearing app storage.

6. Your Rights

Because SPINR does not maintain user accounts or persistent server-side records tied to you, most traditional data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion, portability) are satisfied by managing the data on your own device. You may:

• Delete saved spins at any time from within the App.
• Clear browser storage (web) or delete the App (iOS) to remove all local data.
• Withhold or revoke microphone / speech permission at any time via your system settings.

Residents of the EU/EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with data-protection laws may contact us using the details in Section 15 for any inquiries.

7. Children's Privacy

SPINR is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS in transit and rely on the security controls of our hosting and model providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

9. Content Responsibility & Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for all text you submit to and receive from SPINR. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any text you provide and that your use of SPINR complies with all applicable laws. You will NOT use SPINR to:

• Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that infringes another person's rights;
• Produce hate speech, targeted harassment, or content that promotes violence;
• Generate content in violation of the terms of Anthropic, Google, Apple, or any other processor;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the App's prompts, models, or infrastructure;
• Use SPINR in a manner that violates any law or regulation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to SPINR at any time, with or without notice, in our sole discretion.

10. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

Rewrites produced by SPINR are generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable for a given purpose. Outputs are provided "as is" for informational and creative purposes only. You are solely responsible for reviewing every output before using, publishing, distributing, or otherwise acting on it. SPINR is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, journalistic, or other advice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. TREVBEATS MULTIMEDIA LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TREVBEATS MULTIMEDIA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, OR AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "PROTECTED PARTIES") BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR ANY OUTPUT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE PROTECTED PARTIES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TREVBEATS MULTIMEDIA LLC FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrevBeats Multimedia LLC and its officers, members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, successors, assigns, and affiliates (the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements) arising out of or related to:

• Your access to or use of the App;
• Any text you submit to or receive from the App, including any rewritten output you subsequently use, publish, or distribute;
• Your violation of this Policy, the Terms of Use, or any applicable law or regulation;
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contract rights;
• Any dispute between you and a third party arising from your use of SPINR or its outputs.

The Indemnified Parties reserve the right, at their own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate in asserting any available defenses.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Policy and any dispute arising from or relating to the App shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and TrevBeats Multimedia LLC agree that any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You waive any right to a jury trial. You may not bring claims as a class or representative action.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Your continued use of SPINR after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
